When the dust settles the winner of best 2010 action team-up film is…

Hollywood loves to shell out similar films in a given year, (Dante’s Peak and Volcano, Deep Impact and Armageddon) and 2010 is no exception. This year the old school action team-up made a comeback with movies like, The Losers, The A-Team, and The Expendables with varying results. So, I thought it would be in fitting with the spirit of those films to pit them against one another, and see which one comes out on top. Here are the 2010 action team-up awards. Finally! Some explosions | Review of “The A Team”

It’s been a boring summer season. Not a single film I’ve seen stands out in my mind, Robin Hood anyone? For me it’s up to Christopher Nolan to save the summer with this thriller, Inception. So imagine my surprise when the first film to feel like a real blockbuster is based off everyone’s favorite cheesy 80s TV Show, The A Team.

Now, I never had high hopes for The A Team movie. I loved the show when I was 13, but remember next to nothing about the characters, save for Mr. T’s haircut. Yet, under the direction of Joe Carnahan the flick has a real sense of fun that never lets up for a minute. Read the rest of this entry »

Trailer for Harrison Ford and Rachel McAdams Morning Glory

Harrison Ford can be a pretty funny guy if need be, and I’ve always kind of dug his performances in quasi-funny flicks. Yes, I’m the guy who likes Six Days, Seven Nights. I know… Don’t judge me. Anyway, here he is in the J.J. Abrams produced Morning Glory with Rachel McAdams, Diane Keaton, Patrick Wilison, and Jeff Goldblum rounding out the cast.
