When the dust settles the winner of best 2010 action team-up film is…
Hollywood loves to shell out similar films in a given year, (Dante’s Peak and Volcano, Deep Impact and Armageddon) and 2010 is no exception. This year the old school action team-up made a comeback with movies like, The Losers, The A-Team, and The Expendables with varying results. So, I thought it would be in fitting with the spirit of those films to pit them against one another, and see which one comes out on top. Here are the 2010 action team-up awards. A+ Action: A Review of “The A-Team”
My first impression of “The A-Team”, before it was even released, was that this was a movie made for chicks…that happened to include explosions. I mean, come on- Liam Neeson? Silver fox. Bradley Cooper? Body of a God. Patrick Wilson? Sexy bad guy. Even Sharlto Copley has a rugged handsomeness about him. This was a flick full of sexy men (including one who frequently- and thankfully- takes his shirt off), running around looking bad-ass and manly. Action flick? Yes. But one that was made to get the ladies excited, too.
