The 4th of July according to Hollywood…Eat a Hot Dog, Kill some Aliens

Today is our Independence Day, and what better to celebrate this most American of days than by showing you some of the best 4th of July scenes in movie history. I think you’ll agree that when it comes to American ideals, Hollywood has it covered. On screen at least.

Number 5: The Sandlot - Night-ball


The Sandlot is a great family film that captures many more aspects of Americana than just this 4th of July scene, in which the kids use fireworks to light the only game of night-ball they can play all year.
