The Filmdogs Podcast: Episode 12 – Podcast Returns
The Filmdogs Podcast returns in this geektastic 12th episode. We discuss The Hobbit directing situation in the news and defend Nic Cage’s hair in a new segment, In defense of. Holy Featured Topic Batman! That’s right, in our Featured Topic of the Week we discuss would what WE would do in the sequel to Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Night. Everything from villains to Robin is dwelled upon here. In other words, we geek out. And to wrap things up we have an amazing One Liner of the Week from Al Pacino in Glengary Glen Ross. It’s an episode so good it would make even Batman himself smile.

Batman 3 News Update
Last week film buffs were treated to the incredible news that Christoper Nolan would soon be starting “Batman 3,” along with planing a new Superman film. A “reliable source” from website www.firstshowing.net has gotten it’s hands on a casting grid for Batman 3 indicating that The Riddler is the primary villain in the film. A casting grid is basically a chart for agents and studios to keep them abreast of what roles need to be cast in said film. The site is also claiming that the chart puts actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the top spot for the role. The casting could be feasible considering Levitt’s recent work with Nolan in Inception, and I’d be down with him playing the part as he’s a fantastic young actor. However, I’m still holding out hope that Nolan and his brother, Batman 3 screenwriter Jonathan Nolan, will go with a villain we haven’t seen before. This would be more in line with every statement all the creators have made regarding the 3rd film in the series. Read the rest of this entry »
